Curatorial Note

In AWAITING INPUT, the body hovers in a state of suspended intentionality—neither passive nor actively reaching, but instead caught in a loop of unreadable sensuality. Translated into ASCII text and printed on salvaged computer paper, the image retains both presence and remove, like a paused signal waiting to be reactivated. The piece evokes not just eroticism, but the thresholds of agency—when to touch, when to act, when to submit a command.

The pale colorway and washed tonal registers further mute the body's legibility, reinforcing a limbo between perception and execution. It is a meditation on tension without climax: a question held at the brink of articulation, an interface caught in the soft latency of desire.
